Lord Alfred Tennyson!!!!

Lord Alfred Tennyson is one of the greatest poets of all times. I am only 14 yrs. old and have not read many poems. But if my judgement is asked from what I have read until now, I will say that Tennyson is the best. The principle reason for which i consider him to be the best of all is that his poems are very touchy. I can challenge you that it will surely touch your heart if you read any of his poems most of which are based on mortality of man.

However there are exceptions like "The Charge of the Light Brigade" where the poet is not found to lament the fact that man is mortal. The poem informs the reader about some soldiers who are extremely loyal, obedient to their leader. The reader may notice their loyalty in this poem but at the same time their act of approaching towards their enemy knowing Death to be very close to them may also seem very much stupid to the reader. However the poet here has tried to mark out their bravery and courage through this poem. It is in fact true that it really needs a lot of courage and self-confidence to approach forwards and fight in such a critical condition. The poet has considered their death in this war to be the most honourable of all other deaths as they fought bravely and surrendered themselves inspite of knowing that they possess swords while their opponent possesses guns and cannons which will finish them in no seconds. It is just their obedience to their leader which made them approach forwards. The principal aim of Tennyson is to show how obedient and fearless one can be but the reader may see this poem from a different point of view. Their act may seem very stupid to the reader as the reader may think that it would have been better for them if they fled away immediately knowing their fate. But if he tries to understand the poet then he will know that the poet tries to convey the fact among the readers that one should face any kind of situation in life boldly without any fear and hesitation.

All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!
"Charge for the guns!" he said:
Into the valley of Death

Not tho' the soldier knew
Someone had blunder'd:
Their's not to make reply,
Their's not to reason why,
Their's but to do and die:

Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell

Flash'd all their sabres bare,
Flash'd as they turn'd in air,
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wonder'd:
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right thro' the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian

I somehow managed to learn his entire name while reading "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix".

How can they do this? Why don’t they understand how hard it is for us to study so much? Can’t they make the subject a bit more interesting to study? They have got nothing to do with mathematics. Those who does not like mathematics has to suffer a lot. This is because it is very interesting if it can be understood well. But I am a bit afraid of Mathematics because I do a lot of careless mistakes in that subject. But I love English. I do not know what is my big problem in m writing skill part. I just cannot do it well in spite of the fact that I am capable of writing more or less nice English in the literature part. But I like doing the grammar portion very much. My brother who teaches me English says that it is only my credit if I do well in English and it has got nothing to do with him. For the whole year he will be teaching me English and if I bring good marks in English then people will only praise me only. They will say that I have done an excellent performance mentioning my teacher for a few times. This is not correct. At least I would never do that thing in my life. Because I know that it is because of my teacher (my brother) only that I could do such a result in my exam. I could have done nothing if he did not help me. About physics and chemistry I will say that if they can be understood then the subjects are very good, especially I feel that they are magical subjects as lots of magical things happen in chemistry. For some reason I hate studying Bengali. I just do not like the subject much. About life science I will say that it is also quite interesting if your teacher is a explains well but there is much to learn and remember in life science.History is a kind of subject where there is less to understand and more to learn. But I believe that history can be made more interesting if tried though I do not know how. And geography is a nice subject. There is nothing much to say about geography. It requires both understanding just like life science. My additional subject if Logic. That is a subject of philosophy and it is a nice one if it can be understood well.

In fact every subject has some interesting part if it can be understood well. You may suggest it if you have any other opinion about this piece of writing.

miss YOU so much..........!!!!!!

When I was in class VIII I had a nice friend group and there were seven of us including me. But now in IX all our sections have changed and I really miss them a lot. Only one of my friend is there with me in my section. We have our food together in the break and only at that time we come together again. I love them very much and it is not possible for me to survive without them (seriously speaking). They are an important part of my life. I do not care about anything else when I have them with me. The teachers have not done a very good job by shuffling all our sections. They do not understand we feel about it. That is why they have probably done it. Any way, we have to accept the present condition.

BUT I REALLY MISS THEM A LOT!!!!!
